1 About TrustMoni
TrustMoni is a digital cryptocurrency exchange platform operated by Trustmoni.com Limited, a company registered in Nigeria. TrustMoni allows registered users in Nigeria to deposit supported cryptocurrencies and receive equivalent Nigerian Naira (NGN) into their bank accounts.
Our services include:
- Cryptocurrency deposit and conversion to NGN
- Bank account withdrawal of NGN balances
- Transaction history and account management
- Identity verification (KYC)
- Referral programme
- Bill payments including airtime, mobile data, electricity, and cable TV subscriptions
2 Eligibility
To use TrustMoni, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a resident of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
- Provide accurate and truthful registration information
- Have a valid Nigerian bank account in your name
- Possess a valid National Identity Number (NIN)
- Not be prohibited from using financial services under Nigerian law

3 Account Registration & Security
3.1 Registration
You must register with accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
3.2 Account Security
- Keep your password and PIN strictly confidential
- Never share your login credentials with anyone
- Notify us immediately at help@trustmoni.com if you suspect unauthorized access
- TrustMoni will never ask for your password or PIN via email, SMS, or phone
3.3 One Account Per Person
Each person may register only one TrustMoni account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits or policies is prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.
4 KYC & Identity Verification
TrustMoni is required by applicable Nigerian financial regulations to verify the identity of all users. KYC verification is mandatory before any withdrawal can be processed.
- You must submit your valid National Identity Number (NIN)
- You must complete a live face capture (selfie) during verification
- The name on your NIN must match your registered account name
- Submitting false or another person's identity documents is a criminal offence under Nigerian law
- TrustMoni reserves the right to suspend accounts where KYC verification fails
- Withdrawals will not be processed until KYC is successfully completed and approved
๐ก KYC information is processed securely via Prembly (IdentityPass) and used solely for identity verification purposes in compliance with CBN AML/CFT regulations.
5 Supported Cryptocurrencies & Transactions
5.1 Supported Coins
TrustMoni currently supports: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether USDT (ERC20), XRP, Dogecoin (DOGE), and Litecoin (LTC). Supported coins may change at our discretion with reasonable notice.
5.2 Deposits
- Each user receives a unique wallet address per supported coin generated from a hierarchical deterministic (HD) wallet system
- NGN value is calculated at the time of deposit using the current TrustMoni exchange rate
- Minimum deposit amounts apply per coin
- Deposits are credited after sufficient blockchain confirmations
- All incoming transactions are screened by AMLBot for AML/CFT compliance before crediting
- Deposits flagged as high-risk by AML screening may be held pending review
5.3 Withdrawals
- KYC verification must be completed before any withdrawal can be processed
- Withdrawals are processed to your registered Nigerian bank account only
- Minimum withdrawal is โฆ100
- Withdrawals are reviewed and processed manually by the TrustMoni team and credited to your registered Nigerian bank account within 10 minutes during business hours (8:00 AM โ 10:00 PM WAT, Monday โ Sunday)
- TrustMoni reserves the right to delay or decline withdrawals suspected of fraud or AML violations
5.4 Transaction Monitoring
All cryptocurrency transactions on TrustMoni are monitored by AMLBot, a blockchain analytics platform. Transactions identified as suspicious, high-risk, or connected to illicit activity may be blocked, held for review, or reported to relevant authorities including SCUML, NFIU, and the EFCC as required by law.
5.5 Exchange Rates
Exchange rates are set by TrustMoni administrators and are locked at the time of deposit. Rates fluctuate and TrustMoni is not liable for market movements after a deposit is credited.
6 Fees
TrustMoni earns revenue through the exchange rate spread between the market rate and the rate paid to users. Any additional fees for specific services will be clearly disclosed before you complete a transaction. Current fee information is available in the app and on our website.
6b Bill Payments
TrustMoni allows you to pay for everyday bills directly from your NGN wallet balance. Supported bill payment categories include airtime top-up, mobile data bundles, prepaid and postpaid electricity tokens, and cable TV subscriptions.
6b.1 How it works
- Bill payments are deducted directly from your available NGN wallet balance
- You must have sufficient balance to complete a bill payment transaction
- The full amount including any applicable service fee is shown to you before you confirm the payment
- Once a bill payment is confirmed and submitted, it cannot be reversed
6b.2 Processing and delivery
- Bill payments are processed through third-party biller networks and aggregators
- Airtime and data top-ups are typically delivered within seconds of a successful payment
- Electricity tokens are typically delivered within 1 to 5 minutes
- If a bill payment is debited from your wallet but the service is not delivered within 30 minutes, contact us immediately at help@trustmoni.com with your transaction reference
6b.3 Your responsibility
- Always verify the phone number, meter number, or subscriber ID before confirming a payment
- Payments sent to incorrect numbers or meter numbers may not be recoverable as recovery depends entirely on the biller's policy
- TrustMoni is not responsible for delays caused by biller network outages or the network operator
โ ๏ธ Bill payments are final once confirmed. Always double-check the recipient details before approving any bill payment transaction.
7 Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to use TrustMoni for:
- Money laundering, terrorism financing, or any illegal activity
- Fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
- Processing funds derived from criminal activities
- Circumventing Nigerian financial regulations
- Creating fake accounts or impersonating other persons
- Sending cryptocurrency from mixers, tumblers, or other anonymizing services
- Hacking, reverse engineering, or unauthorized access to our systems
- Any activity that violates applicable Nigerian or international law
โ ๏ธ Violation of these prohibitions will result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of funds, and will be reported to relevant Nigerian law enforcement authorities including the EFCC, NFIU, SCUML, and CBN.
8 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, TrustMoni shall not be liable for:
- Losses due to market fluctuations in cryptocurrency prices
- Delays caused by blockchain network congestion
- Loss of access due to forgotten passwords or PINs
- Losses resulting from your own negligence or sharing of credentials
- Service interruptions due to maintenance, technical issues, or force majeure
- Losses caused by third-party hacks not attributable to our negligence
- Delays in withdrawal processing caused by banking system downtime or other circumstances beyond our control
- Delays or non-delivery of bill payments caused by third-party biller networks or mobile operators
TrustMoni's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the NGN value of the transaction in dispute.
9 Account Suspension & Termination
TrustMoni reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if:
- You violate these Terms of Service
- We suspect fraudulent, illegal, or suspicious activity
- Your transactions are flagged by AML screening
- You fail KYC verification
- Required by applicable law or regulatory authority
- Your account has been inactive for more than 24 months
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at help@trustmoni.com or by using the account deletion form in our Privacy Policy. Any remaining balance will be processed after verification.
10 Intellectual Property
All content, branding, software, and technology on TrustMoni, including the name, logo, app design, and code โ are the exclusive property of Trustmoni.com Limited. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of TrustMoni without written permission.
11 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to arbitration in Nigeria in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.
12 Changes to These Terms
TrustMoni may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of TrustMoni after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
